The ultimate manager for community-based interactive web sites, CyberColony integrates with an SQL database of member data to provide users with access to chat rooms, member lookups, access to web pages, and account management and messaging utilities.
This system combines a server application that manages the interface with the database and communications with clients, a web-based applet that can be integrated into a web site, and a stand-alone client application. To ensure cross compatability, each component is developed with the latest Java Platform, and the applet is tested on older JVMs to ensure backwards compatability.
This system is still in Alpha development, and no working code has been released. Development code will be released as it is made available.
